Oh Gee

Well i haven't been really good at posting new stuff lately, I've been soooo busy with work and stuff. (sorry ladies, i promise to do better) things are going good, slow but good. i am finally got my security deposit and last months rent back so now i am planning on shopping for a car. Yaris two door hatchback, ah i cant wait! unfortunately there hasn't been much progress in the areas of my art; still saving up for my computer equipment. Although i am planning on painting something for my cousins wedding, its going to be different than anything else i have ever done and i am wondering if it will work or not.
What i am going to do is take a large sheet of pine wood draw something like a birch tree that carries over into another panel of wood.
carve the image
stain it like a honey color
let it dry and then roll on a darker stain like paint so it only seeps into the surface area and leaves the carved area untouched
then spray Polly the whole thing.

please tell me what you think, or if you have any suggestions or ideas
