Home

Again I apologize for not keeping up with my blog... this last month has been a roller coaster. I went to camp for the 4th of July as we do every year, my family and I had the best two days any one could ask for; until that night where my older cousin of 30 years and has a rare and serious heart condition, started to have chest pains. He was rushed to Maine Med by ambulance where we found that the lower part of his aorta had stretched and had begun to tare. The following Tuesday he went into surgery, his 3rd open heart surgery. The doctors worked all afternoon and well into the next morning but was unable to get my cousin off the bi-pass machine without his heart stopping and on July 9th Nathan passed on.
Its been a hard month a lot of good days and bad, recently the bad days are fewer and farther between. There are 6 grandchildren on my fathers side of the family and we were all close but he was the keystone that kept us all instep. I know we all considered him a brother.

Lately I haven't felt like drawing, but recently i have taken a series of pictures to keep my creative process flowing. They all have a certian meloncoly about them, well perhaps more of a mood for self refection. By all means I don't claim to be a Photographer but I am attached to them because they are the first steps back into myself since my cousin passing...so be nice...you can lie if you must, it won't hurt my feelings. ;)

These are pictures of home...
